The university is directed by a president who is voted into office by the elected members of the Board of Directors for a duration of foor years.

The president defines university policy by drawing on the councils’ deliberations at which the general secretary and the accountant are present as consultants. His policies are put into action, under the responsibility of the general secretariat, through the administrative divisions and by the administrative representatives of the exterior teaching centres.

The current president of the University is Professor Georges MOLINIÉ.
